Great News!!!!!

I want to thank the Greater Columbus Arts Council for awarding  Performing Artists Traveling Grants to Kelly Hurlburt, Megan Davis, and Eve Hermann. These grants will secure travel for SEA↔BUS, Columbus Ensemble, to travel to Seattle this coming June 8-19 to perform at Velocity Dance Center. This will be our debut performance of Indigo.  We are so fortunate to have a Columbus community that supports us!

Sea↔Bus Update: Future January 21 Ajudication

The Columbus dancers, for Sea↔Bus:Indigo project, will be adjudicating work at Columbus Dance Theater for their annual Columbus Dances Fellowship. CDT, in collaboration with Greater Columbus Arts Council, choose five local dance artists to present brand new work for the Columbus community. If chosen the dance artists will receive financial assistance and space to rehearse and perform. Find out more about CDT and the fellowship here. This is made even more exciting by the fact that Columbus’ very own DJ Moxy has made a sound score for the Sea↔Bus dancers to perform to as their background sound scape. You can listen to the sound score below:

DJ Moxy can be found here and at her soundcloud below here. : )

At the Feet of Atlas

Kori recently performed this solo in October at On The Boards Open Studio performance. This is a dance piece created in preparation for a performance for this coming January called Nomads, directed by Kori and Jonathan Lilly. This solo is entertaining and well executed. It is simultaneously complex and simple in a thought provoking, beautiful, and endearing way. Its a wonderful comment on life itself and leaves you with a grin from ear to ear…

More to come soon!!!
